Winter Wedding Beauty Tips

• Updos are the best option for winter weddings. Winter months are cold and since the air is dry, it can cause static and a drier mane. A down hairstyle may tend to frizz or lose its hold when brushing up a jacket or shawl.

• Because of the lack of moisture in the air, winter months tend to cause drier skin as well. Make sure to moisturize your skin the morning of the wedding and exfoliate the night before.

• To keep moisture in your hair, wash and condition the night before. A light hold flexible hairspray can help tame static or dampen your brush or comb a little before you brush your hair. Curly hair needs extra TLC and I would recommend a leave-in conditioner if you are going to work with your natural curl when styling.

• Most winter weddings are night weddings so feel free to glam it up a bit. Add a little sparkle to your hairstyle with accessories such as bedazzled headbands. Go with a false lash to give a more dramatic effect with your eyes and a bolder lip. Red is hot this season.
