Honeymooners

Since it's getting colder and colder out there, naturally all I can think about is escaping to somewhere warmer—so let's talk honeymoons! If you're still figuring out where to go—whether near or far—be sure to check out some of the honeymoon features we've run in The Connecticut Bride. There's always a fun theme, including hideaways, driveable destinations, the Caribbean or cities (to be featured in the Spring/Summer 2012 issue, out in January!), and you can find our suggestions for where to go right on our website.

Here's some fun destinations to consider:

Hawaii

Bahamas

St. Lucia

Las Vegas

Disney World

A recent trend as of late is to set up a honeymoon registry rather than a typical one. This is especially helpful for couples who already cohabitate and don't necessarily need home goods, and would rather their loved ones contribute to their dream honeymoon. Some great ways to do this include honeyfund.com, honeymoonwishes.com, travelersjoy.com or through your travel agent.

Share your honeymoon destination in the comments!

Hey! I think for a beach honeymoon the seychelles are a nice secluded place to go to or for a city, I quite liked Italy, cause there's lots to do around there! =) We used Wanderable to do our honeymoon registry, as it was free and unlike Honeyfund, it had no ads! =) Worth a look for those considering it.
