Here's a unique twist on the wedding favor: Rent a personal photo booth for your guests to enjoy all night long.

Wedding trends come and go, but we’ve found one we think might stay awhile. Renting a personal photo booth for your big day is all the rage right now, with good reason. Not only do they provide plenty of entertainment for your guests and remind them of the classic booths of years past, the printed photo strips make fantastic favors. (And let’s be honest: Who really wants to take home another set of coasters?)
According to Keith Alan of Keith Alan Productions in Prospect (keithalan.com and ctpartyphotos.com), which provides DJ services as well as photo booth rentals, “At every event, we keep hearing the same two things from almost every guest: ‘This is such a great idea!’ or ‘This is so much fun!’ Let’s face it, not everybody is going to dance every song at a reception. The photo booth offers your guests an alternative type of entertainment. It’s the perfect icebreaker during the cocktail hour as well.”
Keith Alan Productions’ rental services start at $775 for three hours, which includes an attendant to control the booth, a box of props (wigs, hats, boas), unlimited usage, two copies of each photo (one for the guest, one for the newlyweds), and a scrapbook where guests can sign next to their photo strip—a wonderful memento for the bride and groom to take home at the end of the night. “The photo strips are inserted into a vinyl bookmark sleeve,” Alan says, “which makes the perfect party favor, and the memory book is a treasured keepsake for the newlyweds.”
We can’t think of a better way to say thank you to the family and friends who were a part of your special day—and just imagine the fun you and your brand-new spouse will have looking through the pictures afterward.
